FAQs
Do you deliver to Belfast?
We don't currently offer direct deliveries to Belfast. However, we supply locally grown produce to Source Grow, who offer veg boxes and collection points across the Belfast area.
Can I volunteer on the farm?
We're not currently accepting volunteers, but we're always happy to hear from people who are interested. Get in touch and we'll let you know if opportunities become available in the future.
Is the Farm Open to the Public?
Unfortunately, our farm is not currently open to the public. As we operate on rented land without direct access from a main road, we are unable to accommodate farm visits or direct produce collection at this time.
What if I live outside the delivery zone?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to deliver to your area at the moment. However, we’re always reviewing our delivery routes, so this may change in the future.
If you’d like to stay updated, please sign up to our newsletter and we’ll keep you informed of any changes to our delivery area. We may expand to include areas such as Greenisland, Larne, or Newtownabbey in the future.
Which shops do you stock?
We supply a range of produce during our main growing season (June–December) to the following local shops:
- Carrickfergus Greengrocers (Carrickfergus) – a wide selection of seasonal produce
- Fosters Fruit & Flowers (Whitehead) – a selection of our most popular items
- The Village Butchers (Newtownabbey) – a limited selection of our best sellers, such as salads and roasting mixes
Are you still attending markets?
We’re not attending markets in 2026. While we’ve enjoyed trading at markets across County Antrim in the past, we’ve made the decision to focus on our veg box scheme after reviewing the reliability and economic viability of market trading.
Is it all organic?
No, not all of our produce is certified organic. However, we provide full information for each product, including everything in your weekly veg box.
You may come across the following terms:
- Certified Organic – The gold standard. Grown by producers who are fully registered with an approved organic certification body.
- Naturally grown – Grown to organic principles, but without the certification process, paperwork, or associated costs required to label produce as organic.
- Regeneratively grown – Produced using regenerative farming practices that prioritise soil health and biodiversity. For example, one of our potato growers uses natural fertilisers and strong soil health practices, but uses a limited application of a fungicide to prevent blight.
- Conventionally grown – Standard farming methods similar to supermarket produce, although our conventional products are always local.

When will my delivery come?
Deliveries take place on Wednesday afternoons between 4:00pm and 9:30pm.
We deliver in the following order: Ballycarry, Islandmagee, Whitehead, Eden, and Carrickfergus.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide exact delivery times as routes can vary depending on the day.
Can items be excluded from my veg box?
Yes, but exclusions are only available upon request.
Common requests include excluding potatoes, conventionally grown vegetables, or specific items such as turnips.
If an item is excluded, we will replace it at our discretion. Any replacement will never be another item on your exclusion list and is unlikely to be additional quantities of something already included in your box.
You can request a one-off exclusion, but we generally prefer exclusions on an ongoing basis for consistency.
Do you have a newsletter?
Yes — you can sign up using the form at the bottom of this page to receive updates on our veg boxes, seasonal produce, and delivery information.
Packaging & Recycling
We don’t usually use boxes for our veg deliveries. Instead, we use net bags, which we collect and reuse when returned to us. Some customers also choose to keep them for other uses, such as storing firewood.
We aim to use as little single-use plastic as possible. Any clear plastic bags we do use can be recycled at most supermarkets.
That said, many leafy or “green” vegetables last longer when stored in a sealed environment. For example, if you receive loose pak choi, we recommend wrapping it or placing it in a container before refrigerating, or storing it in your vegetable drawer to help keep it fresh.
Can I order a one-off box?
Yes. As soon as you add a veg box to your basket, you'll have the option to choose either a one-off order or a recurring subscription.
Are your eggs organic?
Any eggs we buy in are certified organic. However, our own eggs are not, as sourcing organic feed would significantly increase the cost of production and, ultimately, the price of our eggs.
Instead, we focus on high welfare standards and small flock sizes. Our hens spend most of their waking hours outdoors, only returning to the henhouse to lay eggs and roost at night.
We use a fully mobile henhouse that is moved regularly around the farm. This gives the hens access to fresh ground and new areas to forage, while also benefiting the land. Moving the henhouse frequently helps reduce disease and parasite pressures naturally, creating a healthier environment for both the hens and the pasture.
Do you accept Cash/Card/Bank Transfer
Yes, all three. Just message us if you would like to switch to one of these methods.
