Chris's Classics

This veg box is sourced entirely from Chris's Market Garden and is ideally suited for those who want ultra-local, ultra-fresh produce grown to the high standards of our home farm.

The veg box will be filled with seasonal produce from our garden, typically including something from 4-5 of the following categories:

Salad – Typically a mix of lettuce, rocket, and spicy mustard greens

Greens – Chard, kale, pak choi, herbs

Beans & Peas (Summer/Early Autumn) – Fresh peas, broad beans

Brassicas – Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, sprouting broccoli

Roots – Carrots, turnips, beetroot, radishes

Alliums – Scallions, onions, leeks, garlic

Autumn Veg – Squash, fennel, celeriac

Summer Veg – Beans, peas, courgettes

We may include eggs if there is a shortage of variety at the beginning or end of our season. If you would prefer no eggs, please update your preferences to say "no eggs" or "vegan only."

Unlike our other veg boxes, this one will never include items we do not grow ourselves—i.e., tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, fruit, and potatoes.*

*We are trialling some small-scale potatoes this year (2025), which may be included in the veg box. If you wish to opt out of receiving potatoes, please update your preferences accordingly.
